mark and eryn are two of the nicest people ben and i have ever met! they are kind and sincere and have a genuine love for each other that is visible to anyone around them. though we hear this a LOT…. they “warned” us that they might not be that photogenic….. whatever! i think everyone will agree with me that they were fabulous subjects and that there is no shortage of modeling skills here. we had so much fun traipsing all over downtown and we LOVE the fact that they were willing to try anything and go anywhere. thanks for the adventure!! and thanks to michelle and matt, my friends from high school, for sending these two fabulous people our way! we can’t wait for your wedding!!! here are a few of our favorite shots from the day….. enjoy.

ben spent all weekend at the “ROCK THAT OCF” workshop with Ali Hohn, flexing his off camera flash muscles. good fun with a handful of local photogs and a great chance to meet a few others from all over our wonderful “snowy” state.
we typically shoot in all natural light to capture a certain sense of realism. but there are those times when flash simply “rocks” and that was what this weekend was all about. so here’s a few of our favorites.

how adorable are these two?!!! we had such a fun time downtown with jon and whitney (and their lovable golden retriever)! the weather was beautiful and we had just enough warm sunlight to use it in the pictures to our advantage. SCORE! and when jon showed up in an orange striped tie and new converse all-stars for the shoot, we were so excited! and of course, whitney, who is beautiful, had on this cute little number, with a million accessories in tow…. LOVE accessories! jon and whitney are a very genuine, fun and relaxed couple that are not only madly in love with each other, they also love Jesus! we cannot wait for your big day in may and are honored you chose us as your wedding photographers!

What a great photo shoot. I think #’s 3,9,15,16,18,20 have the most impact and are my favorites. # 20 looks like she had something on her mind that might happen f they went inside the building.
