seems like we were just in chicago hanging out with tom + lauren, when in reality it was a few weeks ago. time flies when you travel to chicago, florida, washington and detroit all in the matter of a few weeks!!! some of you already know that it has been a crazy year of traveling for us, but we LOVE it and feel blessed at the opportunities we have to meet and shoot so many incredible people. and that definitely includes tom + lauren, who both work in chicago at a swanky marketing agency called UPSHOT! we met them through one of our dearly beloved blog followers, kelly von ebers, who boosts our esteem ever so often with her kind comments. ben had written back to kelly, kelly sent our website to the newly engaged tom + lauren, we met for lunch while in chicago and the rest is history!!! a little shout-out to kelly for leaving your comments that we love and for introducing us to tom + lauren! you ROCK!

we loved our time with tom + lauren and were extremely excited when they decided to book us for next summer at the blue dress barn! did we mention that we LOOOOOVE unique venues??!! we DO!!! back to chicago we went for their engagement shoot and i was so excited when lauren busted out a fabulous dress from anthropologie that i had actually been eyeing myself. they were so great and we tried a few new locations with them and squeezed out every ounce of light we had! what a blast….. they are kind, genuine, fun and just pretty darn cool. we cannot wait to spend more time with them at their wedding next may!!!!! here are some ben + mindy faves…….
